Dancing On Ice Judge Louie Spence Dismisses Jason Gardiner Feud Rumours

Despite replacing former judge Jason Gardiner on Dancing On Ice, Louie Spence declares that the two are still the best of friends and there are no hard feelings between them.

This is the Pineapple Studiostar's first time on the show and he has already told fans how much he is enjoying his new role as judge, telling us: “I'm having lots of fun. It's something really easy for me. I only have to speak a maximum of 30 seconds and then I have to critique dance.”

Denying rumours of hostility between the himself and Jason, Louie says that they are still close friends, despite Jason getting the axe at the end of the last season of the celebrity ice skating show.

Speaking on This Morning, the eccentric dancer said: "(Jason and I) had lunch yesterday and he's been having a great time, he's absolutely fine - I mean our friendship is so much stronger than any TV show."

He added: "We are great friends and there is no animosity between us, and that's showbusiness - jobs come and go. That's been the same; I was in Cats, Jason was in Cats... you know, it's the same kind of thing.

"We're used to this, you know, especially in TV. You're flavour of the month and then you're gone. I could be out next year, darling - I'm making the most of it and I'm having as much fun as I can because I know these things may not last."
