Actress Lily Collins was convinced she'd fallen victim to a prank when she was offered her role alongside Julia Roberts in Mirror Mirror - because she received the call on April Fools' Day.
Collins, daughter of veteran musician Phil Collins, plays Snow White in the new fairy tale movie, but she initially refused to accept she had landed the part, insisting a pal was mocking her.
She tells Hello! magazine, "It was Aprils Fools' Day, so when I got the phone call I thought that someone was playing a prank on me. I was quite angry and thought, 'If this is someone's idea of a joke, it's not funny.' But then when I realised it was true, I burst into tears and started screaming. It's the role of a lifetime."
