Christian Bale and Natalie Portman Join Forces For Two Films

Christian Bale will star opposite Natalie Portman and Cate Blanchett to film two Terrence Malick movies back to back.

The trio will begin filming ‘Knight of Cups’ mid-year and will reunite later this year for ‘Lawless’ which will also star Ryan Gosling, Haley Bennett and Rooney Mara, according to Deadline.

It will be Portman’s first return to acting since giving birth to her son Aleph Portman-Millepied last year.

The 30-year-old actress last month revealed that she was also considering a lead role in ‘Juniper Ascending’ and she is expected to join in the upcoming ‘Thor’ sequel.

Details of the plot and the roles cast members will play in Malick’s film have been kept secret.

However Bale has described his character as "kind of an a**hole".

The actor recently reprised his role as Batman in the latest film in the popular series 'The Dark Knight Rises'.
