Rihanna and Chris Brown have worked on a remix to the 'Talk That Talk' song 'Cake', titled 'Birthday Cake'.
The controversial duet comes just three years after Brown was convicted of assaulting Rihanna who, at the time, was his girlfriend. However, the pair have grown close in the past twelve months and Brown even wished her a happy birthday on her 24th yesterday (Monday).
Tweeting about the track, Chris Brown said: The pub and excitement of this industry /society is only a surface! Really want us as a human race to unite! Bigger than music!"
Meanwhile, it has been predicted that Rihanna will also feature on a remix to Brown's new single 'Turn Up The Music'
Critics are likely to hit out at the collaboration however, and the message it sends to fans of Rihanna's. Miranda Lambert, a US singer, criticised Brown during a recent concert and has become one of his most vocal critics since his Grammy Award win.
