    Cheryl Cole in talks to return to The X Factor USA?

    Cheryl Cole is reportedly in talks to make a return to The X Factor USA.

    Apparently the singer is currently in negotiations with producers about returning to the judging panel for the third series of the show.

    Chezza was fired in a pretty shocking fashion after only a few weeks of filming on her previous stint, and has since filed a $2.3million lawsuit against executives in unpaid wages.

    It had been previously rumoured that Simon Cowell wanted to bring Cheryl back to the show, although it was thought that he wanted her back on the struggling UK panel.

    The New York Post suggests that a return to the US show might be part of the settlement offered by executives.

    It has also been rumoured that Khloe Kardashian has been axed as co-host of the US X Factor.

    A source to the New York Post, "They are asking Mario [Lopez] to come back, but not Khloe."
