WENNCheryl Cole and her new boyfriend Tre Holloway have been reportedly dating for six months, and have been seen on a number of dates together looking super-cute, but they’ve had their first fight over an Ashley Cole-style watch, according to a new report.
The backing dancer, who had to pull out of Cheryl’s A Million Lights tour because of an injured knee, turned down a £25,000 Rolex watch because he thought it was too like her ex-husband’s style.
Cheryl, 29, was said to have wanted to make the gesture before kicking off her UK tour but Tre didn’t want to seem like he was living off his girlfriend.
“Cheryl wanted to buy Tre a Rolex before they embarked on her A Million Lights UK tour last week. “His immediate reaction was to decline her offer because it was too expensive. Tre doesn't want to be seen as living off Cheryl's money.
“Then he realised she wanted to get him a similar Rolex to the one she bought Ashley. And he doesn't want to share any similarities with her ex.”
While appearing on Alan Carr's Chatty Man, Cheryl revealed how the couple became an item. "I actually met him two years ago. It was me, it was all me. I had to do a little bit of chasing. I cast a spell."
She then added: "Handsome isn't he?"
