Celebrity Big Brother Denise Welch Crowned Winner: 'It's Bloody Brilliant'

Denise Welch has been crowned this year’s Celebrity Big Brother winner and admitted that it was “bloody brilliant” to win the show.

The 53 year-old beat X Factor reject Frankie Cocozza to be named winner after an emotional and drama filled three weeks.

As she emerged to the screams of the crowds the Loose Women presenter said that she was ecstatic at coming first, she admitted: “I’m not going to be modest it’s bloody brilliant.”

Denise’s relationship with American actor Michael Madsen caused much of the drama in the house and the actress insisted that she still did not know what made them clash, she said: “Till the day I die I do not know what was going on with that man.”

“I tried to chip away and get to know him but it didn’t work.”

The blonde bombshell claimed that had they met outside of the house they may have got on better. Earlier in the night Brian asked Michael why he had argued with Denise and suggested it could be because she fancied him, to which he said: “You would have to ask her.”

 Denise did get on with Frankie Cocozza and his partner in crime The Only Way Is Essex star Kirk Norcross in the house. She giggled when talking about them and said: “Having those two naughty boys in there was brilliant.”

Denise, who enjoyed drunken hot-tub fun with the lads said she got naked to prove that “you don’t need a boob job” and was embarrassed when shown clips of her trying to be ‘down with the kids’.

As well as a lot of laughs, Denise admitted that she had learnt a lot about herself in the house: “I will take that I can’t please all the people all the time.”

Brian Dowling revealed on Celebrity Big Brother's Bit On The Side that he thought Denise had been a brilliant housemate and was over the moon that she had won, he said: “Denise as a housemate gave us laughs, tears, fights and she gave us her tits.”
