WENNCatherine Zeta-Jones has donated a pair of her own shoes to help continue to fund the search for missing girl, April Jones.
The 43-year-old actress has lent her support by handing over the gold heels, along with a signed photograph of herself.
The gesture may come as no surprise as Catherine is well-known for her Welsh roots, with April also being Welsh.
Catherine's strappy designer heels will be auctioned later on this month at a fundraising event, which is to be held in April's hometown of Machynlleth, Powys.
The mother-of-two sent the shoes after she was contacted by a family friend of the Jones family.
“We wrote a letter to Catherine to ask for support,' Vikki Macdonald explained.
"She kindly gave us the shoes, which she wore for a premiere.”
Five-year-old April, who was reported missing on October 1, has a fund that has already reached £40,000 and is registered with the Charities Commission, as residents of her hometown refuse to give up on the search for her.
