Following yesterday's reports that Britney Spears is close to signing a deal to become a judge on the X Factor USA for a cool $15 million, new reports have revealed that the star is actually in line to get $16 million!
Revealing that Britney and the X Factor USA bosses have "come to terms", a source told Us Weekly:
"No paperwork has actually been signed yet. But they finally came to terms. It was a long negotiation...Britney was a natural fit."
Believing that the X Factor USA needs Britney "badly" after the exit of Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul, the source added:
"You can't have Idol with JLo and Voice with Xtina and have X Factor with, um, Paula Abdul?"
Refusing to deny or confirm the reports, a rep for the X Factor USA said: "We still refuse to confirm any talks at this time."
Dismissing the reports, a source added: "Nothing has happened and nothing has changed...This is wildly exaggerated."
