Pippa Middleton, The Duchess of Cambridge's sister, has admitted her book 'Celebrate' hasn't gone as well as it could have, after disappointing sales and has joked her next one should be about her bottom.
The brunette found worldwide fame thanks to her tight dress at the royal wedding last year but it looks like those talents haven't transferred to publishing as her party planning guide was widely panned by critics.
So Pip's next venture might stick a bit closer to home and be all about her famous derrière. “Maybe I should write a sequel and call it Bottoms Up,” she said in this week's Spectator.
“Now that could be a bestseller.”
Pippa admitted she's been a little disappointed by the sale of the book and has been the butt of jokes ever since.
She revealed: “I have been much teased for my book,”
“Lots of journalists are saying that my advice is glaringly obvious. A spoof Twitter account called @pippatips offers such pearls as 'enjoy a glass of water by getting a clean glass and pouring in water from a tap or bottle'.”
Pippa, who wrote a guest column for the magazine this week, seemed to take the flop in good humour though and even shared a Christmas story about silver fox father Michael Middleton.
She revealed: “My father has developed this funny tradition of surprising us at some point by appearing in fancy dress. He buys a new costume each year and typically gets carried away. A couple of Christmases ago he appeared in an inflatable sumo outfit. It's endearing, really, and only quite embarrassing.”
The 29 year-old, who launched her party planning book in Holland this week, also revealed she has a “soft spot”for Tennis champ Roger Federer. Poor Andy Murray!
