She's one of the most stylish starlets around, having bagged numerous campaigns including Gucci's Premiere fragrance as well as consistently topping best dressed lists with her elegant style, so it's no wonder that Blake Lively was a hands-on bride with her wedding gown.

The 25-year-old Gossip Girl star planned a top secret wedding with her man Ryan Reynolds in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina last month, and is said to have known exactly what she wanted in terms of her wedding, as her wedding dress designer, Georgina Chapman, has spoken out.

Blake tied the knot in secret at Boone Hall Plantation and Gardens – where The Notebook was filmed – in a custom made Marchesa beaded gown featuring a silk tulle bodice and rose-gold embroidery.

And Mrs Reynolds is said to have had a big say in the design and creation of the dress, making sure she had her utmost input. ''Blake has such an innate style," said Georgina Chapman, runs the celeb favourite Marchesa brand with Keren Craig.

The designer fuelled rumours that the pair might be onto a fashion collaboration as she further gushed to Us Weekly, ''I've worked with her so many times and know her so well."

And Chapman further raved that Blake "has a very clean sense of fashion . . .she was very involved."

Blake married Ryan, 35, in Cotton Dock, who was rocking Burberry for the occasion. And while the actress couldn't resist wearing custom made Christian Louboutin heels during the ceremony and reception.

And the actress, who fancies herself as a fashionista, was said to be ''a creative bride with a clear vision of what she wanted,'' another source revealed to Us Weekly.

Chapman also added that collaborating with Lively on the gown was ''great'' and that ''we're friends – it was wonderful to spend time with her.''
