Bianca Gascoigne Fails To Impress Judges On The X Factor

The X Factor is known for shining a light on members of the general public as they show off their vocals, but that wasn't the case for the show tonight when former reality TV star and socialite Bianca Gascoigne who walked on stage to audition.

Having revealed who she was in her VT, the 25 year-old who is now a DJ admitted that she was serious about getting far on the show.

After introducing herself to the judges, the daughter of footballer Paul Gascoigne sang her rendition of Mary J Blige's 'I'm Going Down'.

Sadly her performance wasn't enough to put her through to the next stage as judge Gary Barlow told her that her audition wasn't good enough for the competition.

He told the 25 year-old: "If I could compare you with the other 25 year olds we’ve had it’s really not good enough. What the other 25 year olds have is that they’ve been singing like all their lives, seriously singing. At 25 you should be a lot better than that. In general it was a bit of a mediocre audition."

Despite telling Bianca that her voice wasn't bad, Louis Walsh added:

"Bianca you haven’t got a bad voice, you’ve got a great image you know but it’s tough because we’ve got some amazing singers in this category already."

Giving her feedback, Tulisa's whose comments revealed that she knew Bianca prior to the show, said: "I appreciate and admire the fact that you’ve come up and basically wanted to try something different and change the public’s perception of you and I think you’re a cool girl I’ve met you out a couple of times but I’ve got to be honest i don’t think the vocals were strong enough for this competition."

Agreeing with Tulisa, guest judge Rita Ora finished off the judges comments, saying: "Rita: I can tell you were nervous but I agree with T, I think we’ve seen better singers."
