Tony Bennett supported his pal Lady Gaga's parents on Wednesday by attending the opening of their restaurant in New York.
The veteran crooner teamed up with the Poker Face hitmaker last year to duet on a recording of The Lady Is A Tramp, and he also painted a nude portrait of the star.
And Bennett showed he's grown close to Gaga's family as he was spotted mingling with guests at the grand opening of her parents Joseph and Cynthia Germanotta's Manhattan eaterie Joanne on Wednesday night.
Bennett's appearance gave the evening some star quality but it appears the Germanottas' new business venture could be in for a tough time - New York Post restaurant critic Steve Cuozzo snuck into the 'no media allowed' opening night but was disappointed with his meal, likening it to airline food.
