    Barlow in talks to return to The X Factor

    Gary Barlow has been in secret talks with ITV bosses about returning to The X Factor for the upcoming series.

    The Take That star proved popular on the judges panel last year, and even though his act Marcus Collins came second to girlband Little Mix, TV executives are keen for him to return.

    Barlow tells The Sun, "I started talks two weeks before the last one finished. We are talking."

    Insiders claim the singer will be offered a pay rise on his £1.5 million salary from 2011.

    A source adds, "Gary loved being on the show and genuinely wants to be back.

    "While viewing figures were down a few million, the feeling is it would have been worse without Gary."

      He only wants to do it for the money because he is old now and take that are "past it"And he has such a weak voice that he can't hold down a solo career.He was a horrible judge.I will NOT be watching if Gary barlow returns.He is so arrogant and up himself.I've come to the conclusion that x factor is a pile of #$%$ anyway and it just produces trashy singers who want to be rich and famous and none of them ever end up huge international superstars.X factor needs to be axed,IT IS BORING and past it's sell by date.

      I understood he said after his last stint he was all X-factored out! Just goes to show, it's a different story every day. If he does come back I hope he has a more civil attitude towards those who only want to make something of themselves just as he did at one point. Lets not forget our own humble beginnings Mr Barlow.

      Time to shut x factor down, it has not really developed any real talent, look at all the winners and then look at the charts. Add up all the sales from X factor against all those acts that did it the hard way. Now multiply by 9, add 57 and add a zero on the end. That's how much Simon Cowell earned by having numpties watching the show

      please no, the X should have been written across his picture just like those booted out at boot camp and we need to get others in. all four judges were rubbish IMHO, and if they want to improve it they need to get rid of Dermot as well.

      what about a panel of Cowell, katy perry, adele and sharleen spiteri with ant and dec hosting
