
This season of American Idol is appearing to be an emotional one after a hopeful made judge Steven Tyler cry.
With the auditions arriving in St Louis, 20 year-old hopeful Reis Kloeckener, performed Bill Withers' 'Lean On Me', in the hope of impressing Jennifer Lopez, Randy Jackson and Steven. And that he did after Steven told the hopeful:
"You made me cry. I tell you what man, that was so beautiful you made me cry, that's how good that was right now. You made me tear up and get all crazy inside. I haven't heard anything like that."
Having got Steven's approval, Jen and Randy followed suit and handed Reis a ticket to Hollywood.
Speaking after his audition about how he got into singing, Digital Spy reports Reis saying: "Once I joined choir it was a turning point. I found a couple of friends who were really supportive. They helped pull me through. I definitely gained a lot of confidence and I think it made me who I am today and I'm a lot tougher because of it."
