Alesha Dixon: 'I Wasn't Stolen From Strictly Come Dancing'

Alesha Dixon's move from Strictly Come Dancing to Britain's Got Talent wasn't a quiet one, especially when Simon Cowell cheekily hinted that the only reason why he hired Alesha was to get back at his rivals.

However that appears to be far from the truth after Alesha slammed reports that she had been "stolen" from the hit BBC show, telling Now magazine:

"A person can't be stolen. At the end of the day I was on Strictly Come Dancing for three years and I think that's a respectable length of time."

The star added: "It was my choice to leave and I'm excited."
