Adele: New Boyfriend 'Has Been Divorced Four Year'

Adele may know a thing or two about heartbreak but she has insisted that she is not carrying on with a married man.The singer has issued a statement claiming that her new boyfriend is in fact divorced and has been for four years.

The ‘Someone Like You’ singer who was first spotted with her new man, Simon Konecki on a New Year’s holiday in Florida. Reports emerged earlier this week that the 37 year-old was still married to fashion stylist Clary Fisher with who he has one child.

The post on the official website said: “Simon is divorced and has been for 4 years. Everyone in our lives separately and together wish us nothing but the best, and vice versa. These are the facts.”

The 23 year-old met the Brighton based charity boss last October through mutual friend Ed Sheeran and despite only dating for a few months are already thinking of moving in together.

According to Heat Magazine a friend of the singer said: “This is the happiest Adele's been in a long while. She spends a lot of time with him and they've even been house-hunting.”
