X Factor’s Robbie Hance: ‘Show bosses wouldn’t even give me food or shelter’

Homeless X Factor contestant Robbie Hance has blasted the show saying they wouldn't even give him £15 for food and shelter and that is why he left the show.

Robbie appeared on X Factor a couple of weeks ago and got through to boot camp, however following filming he went missing and producers were unable to contact him.

The last we saw of Robbie was on last week's boot camp show where it appeared that he left the show after forgetting his words.

However, Robbie has revealed that this isn't really why he decided to leave, or why he decided to stop taking phone calls from X Factor producers.

Robbie told The Sun:  "I'd rather be homeless than have anything more to do with X Factor."

"When I finally stepped on that stage, all I could hear was a voice telling me 'you don't deserve this'. I knew the words of the song but I couldn't sing them."

So what exactly did he feel he didn't deserve?

"I was so sick of my stupid back story, so I walked out. But I'm sorry I let Adam and Jake down."

And Robbie even claims that producers failed to provide him with any money for food or shelter while he was filming:

"Every time I asked for help the answer was the same, so I stopped asking", he explained.

"I asked for £15 but was told they couldn't help because it wouldn't be fair on other contestants."

A Spokesperson for the show said: "While the contestants are in our care we enforce a fair and consistent policy on accommodation, travel and sustenance. The welfare of contestants is always our priority."

"The judges decide which acts are put through to boot camp based on the strength of their performances and Robbie received four yeses", he added.

Could have maybe forked out for a Travelodge though, eh?
