The breakout star of this weekend's X Factor was without a doubt singer/songwriter Lucy Spraggan, with her quirky self penned binge drinking song 'Last Night' shooting straight to number two on the Itunes chart.
Talking exclusively to omg! today, Lucy admitted that the most overwhelming thing to of happen since her audition aired was being tweeted by one very famous member of the X Factor alumni.
She told us: "I have to say getting a tweet from One Direction's Louis was amazing."
As well as amassing a handful of celebrity admirers, Lucy's twitter followers have so far grown to 50,000- something she has trouble digesting.
"It's surreal how many people are following me and supporting me out there. A massive thank-you to all those people."
'Last Night' was taken down from Itunes today in a bid to make this year's competition a level playing field between all the contestants. Before this however, Lucy was giving X Factor winners Little Mix a run for their money for this week's number one.
Even though she is no longer in the running, Lucy is still happy to have charted in the first place.
She admitted: "It just feels amazing to be in chart regardless of who else is in it or not. It was amazing to be overtaking some people who are massive icons. It was just great to see the support and the exposure."

Lucy auditioned in front of judge Mel B who had been notoriously harsh on contestants this year. But for Lucy, it was the audience reaction that worried her the most.
"I was pretty scared of [Mel B]. I was just scared anyway. I was more scared of what the audience were doing. As soon as they cheered though I was like 'what a surreal crazy, crazy life'."
As for what Lucy was doing when she watched her audition this weekend, it seems that life really does imitate art.
"I was at my mate's flat and we had a bowl of sangria and tequila. Oh it was horrible waking up the next day."
