Ella Henderson was the talk this week's X Factor after she nearly brought the judges to tears, performing a song which she penned herself.

omg! caught up with the sixteen year old to see how she was doing since the show aired.
A chuffed Ella told Yahoo omg! exclusively that she was nervous of getting up in front of the judges, especially with a song no one had heard before, but felt fine as soon as she was on stage.
Ella says: "When I went up I realized the judges are just four human beings who just love music and are there to give you an honest opinion."

But which judge did Ella want to impress the most?
"Before I went up I wanted to impress Gary Barlow for the song writing — I look up to him so much. But being on stage I felt a warm presence from Tulisa and I really gelled with her up there."
Almost immediately after Ella's performance viewers began to compare the young singer to Adele but Ella thinks this is unfair.
Unfair to Adele, that is!
She says: "I feel really horrible to Adele! I don't want to step on her toes — I've always listened to her and she inspires me. "

And she definitely has Little Mix's support, after the girls said she was 'lovely' after they met her backstage at Daybreak yesterday.
We can confirm this is very much the case.
