Comedian type Russell Howard has been voted heat's Weird Crush of The Year.

So basically, 3000 people voted Russell the bloke we all fancy but can't quite understand why. The unconventionally sexy, if you will.

Is this a compliment? We're still not sure. It really is a dubious honour, but an honour nonetheless.

Russell previously came second in the poll and had this to say at the time:

"Thanks, I think, to the people who voted for me. Finally, I am king of the mingers! It's nice to know I'd be many people's sympathy sh*g."

King of the Mingers 2012, Richard Osman slipped into third place behind Russell and Jon Richardson who came in second place.

Richard commented: “I am so happy to hand over the crown to Russell Howard, a younger and handsomer man.”

And we will admit, we definitely know what the voting public see (even if you might not) but we reckon the omg! weird crush of 2013 has to be a certain Ed Sheeran.

Yes, he may be absolutely huge and one of our most talented pop stars but it must be said he is rather *ahem* funny looking.
