In fact, we're not going to lie. We may have welled up a little bit at the lyrics.
After composing ourselves, our first thought was: "Ooh it sounds a bit like an Ed Sheeran song."
Which is fitting seeing as we then found out that the song was indeed penned by Ed.
Zayn Malik and Niall Horan were out and about last night ahead of the single's first play. Copyright [WENN]Apparently he wrote it aged 17 for his first ever girlfriend, (aww!) but decided to give the track to One Direction.
And it seems that the 1D boys loved the song instantly.
Niall Horan said: "We heard the song and said, 'yeah, that's a cracker and we want it.'"
Ed Sheeran penned the song for One Direction. Copyright [WENN]Harry Styles followed suit, taking to Twitter to say: "So good to see your comments on 'Little Things' we're so happy that you like it. Can't wait for you to hear the rest of the album .xx"
Niall's even revealed the theme of the video, saying: "For the video, we just kind of sit around in a studio and act like we're recording the song."
We can't wait to see it.
