Kristen finally emerged after week's of hiding for last night's screening of her latest flick On The Road at the Toronto film festival.
Maybe she thought everyone would be talking about last night's MTV VMAs and she would manage to slip under the radar?

The actress skipped the UK premiere of the film after reports that she was too afraid to step onto the carpet and face the public and press.

However, last night she finally braved the carpet and sources there say she did a great job and even spoke to the press — strictly about the film mind.
When one reporter dared to ask how she was doing she quipped 'I'm fine' before very quickly moving on.
However, Kristen had loads of time for fans who cheered the star after she spent time saying hi and signing autographs.
Plus, she was spotted actually smiling on a red carpet which we reckon might just be a K-Stew first!
Despite what happened between her and Robert Pattinson we admit we are chuffed to have Kristen back, even if it is just so we can gawp at her dress.
