Khloe Kardashian has reportedly got the axe from hosting X Factor USA after just one series.

The New York Post reports that Khloe will NOT be back hosting the next series while to make matters worse, her co-host Mario Lopez HAS been asked back.
A source told the paper: “They are asking Mario [Lopez] to come back, but not Khloe.”

When Khloe landed the job initially she admitted that she hadn't planned on taking any lessons and went into things unprepared.
The Kardashian said at the time: "I've never done live TV before, and I was asked to not do any hosting lessons because they wanted me to be just myself."

Khloe also said how difficult it was at first to adjust to hosting in front of a live audience but added how much she thinks she has improved throughout the series.
"Just learning how there's a screaming audience and you don't yell because the mic is right there. There were so just so many pieces I never knew were involved in live TV."
"I do feel like through every show I got better and better, but my first week I literally was like, 'I am going to die. I want to fake a heart attack.'"
However, Khloe's presenting met with mixed reviews from day one and it would seem that a permanent place on the show was just never meant to be.
