Kate Middleton has shot to the top of best dressed lists and now the Duchess of Cambridge can add another title to her trophy cabinet thanks to The Headwear Association's online poll.
Kate got a massive 91% of the vote in The Headwear Association's (THA) online poll, beating Rachel Zoe (4%), Ne-Yo (2%), Justin Timberlake (1%), Bruno Mars (1%) and Charlie Sheen (1%).
The Duchess is in good company, as previous winners include Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt.
American THA is the oldest fashion trade association in the industry, being founded in 1908. Their favourite of Kate's hats include the Rose Cory velvet cabernet number Kate wore at Christmas, and the Sylvia Fletcher of Lock & Co. maple leaf headpiece Kate wore during her visit to Canada.

We've heard about Kate's influence on the British economy, with recent reports claiming she brought £1billion into the country, and nowhere is the 'Kate effect' seen more than in the fashion industry.
Milliners are seeing a boom in business thanks to Kate's love of headwear. The Duchess dons a hat at every opportunity, whether she's going to church, a friend's wedding or the races.
She's raised the profile of less well known designers like Rose Cory and Vivien Sheriff as well as the big names in the business, Philip Treacy and Sylvia Fletcher of Lock & Co.

Jenny Pfanenstiel of Forme Millinery in Chicago told the Daily Mail: "Kate has allowed American women to know what fascinators are and to feel more comfortable and confident about wearing hats in public."
Excuse us while we raid our wardrobes to wear a hat in Kate's honour.
