Considering he was in wildly successful boy band *N Sync, we think the boys should probably listen to JT intently.
The 32-year-old singer told The Sunday Mirror that he can relate to what One Direction are going thanks to his past pop credentials.
He admitted: "They look like they are having the best time. I can relate to where they are in life.
"I haven't really met them but they seem like great guys and I wish them only good things.
"I live my life surrounding myself with good people and people I can trust so I would say that's important. And they should never take anything too seriously."

Justin recently flew into England to promote his new album The 20/20 experience and perform at the BRITS.
He will also be returning to London in the summer where he will be headlining Wireless festival alongside Jay-Z.

Due to the sheer amount of time he’ll be spending in the UK, Justin admitted that he should probably invest in a house over here.
He said: "I should really buy a house here. I'm having the best time in London and whenever I do a tour I seem to spend the majority of my time here.
"I love the UK fans. I'm looking at my diary and seem to be spending a lot of time here this summer ... more than ever, I think."
If Justin Timberlake fancies moving to the UK with wife Jessica Biel, we for one won’t have any objections.
