And this year's offering is no different - after we all admitted to sniffling at our desks when it was officially unveiled online this morning.

The one-and-a-half minute clip entitled 'The Journey' focuses on an adorable snowman (reminding us lots of our childhood spent watching The Snowman) who goes on a mission to find the best Christmas present.
And in true John Lewis ad style, it keeps us gripped right until the very end as he ventures through a dimly lit forest, a busy motorway and a bustling shopping street on his adventure.
The reason he's gone on the journey is kept hidden until the very end - and that's when the blubbing really begins.

The soundtrack is just as moving as ever - with a cover of Frankie Goes to Hollywood's 'Power of Love' sung by Gabrielle Aplin.
The 20 year-old singer, who's signed to Parlophone Records, as already been a huge hit on Youtube and with her debut album set for release in 2013, we predict mega things for her.
And of course there's a slogan - this year it's 'Give A Little More Love This Christmas'.
