Helen Flanagan has hit back at her critics who have suggested she hasn't been up to much since leaving Coronation Street last year.

Helen has insisted that she is no 'bimbo' and is going back to school to do her 'A'-Levels.
She also said how, despite being a WAG to footie star boyfriend Scott Sinclair, Helen earns and spends her own money.
Got that, haters?!
This almost definitely calls for some sort of impromptu rendition of Destiny's Child Independent Women.

Speaking to The People, Helen said: "I'm not a b***h, don't spend my boyfriend's money. I have my own money."
"Some people say I'm a 'talentless bimbo' but I think they have the wrong impression of me."
We never believed the nasty chat anyway and have loved Helen since her days in Corrie.

And while lots of people say Helen left the show to spend time with Scott, she insists this was not the case, Helen says:
"When I left Corrie I think people thought it was because I just wanted to be with my boyfriend and that isn't the case at all."
"My boyfriend just happens to play football and I support him in his job and I have my own direction, my own career, my own goals."
"Since leaving Corrie I've been keeping my options open. I'm going back to my old school, Westholme in Blackburn. The principal is amazing and she said I could do my A Levels privately."
Aha, beauty and brains!
She added: "I'm enrolling to do history, psychology and religious studies. Those are the subjects I really enjoyed when I was younger and I'm looking forward to focusing my mind."
