Since breaking up with Harry Styles last week, Taylor Swift has reportedly been spending her free time writing songs about their break-up.
However, Taylor took some time out from penning Harry related songs on Sunday to attend the Golden Globes.
The 23-year-old singer looked incredible in a backless Donna Karan purple gown, perfecting her sultry ‘I’ve moved on’ stare down to a fine art.
But Taylor Swift wasn’t attending the ceremony to simply stand and look pretty.
No, she was in fact there on official business as one of the night’s nominees.
The ‘Love Story’ singer earned herself a Best Original Song nomination for ‘Safe & Sound’ which featured on ‘The Hunger Games’ soundtrack.
Talking to Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet, Taylor Swift joked that she enjoyed writing a song that wasn’t about her experiences.
You have allegedly been spending the past few days doing just that.
She said: “[It was nice] for a change! It was interesting because Lionsgate came to us and said we want you to write form Katniss’ point of view and we want you to understand her and come from where she is coming from.
"We had this idea that we wanted the song to be about the empathy that goes into this film.
“In a film with a lot of action and fighting we wanted to highlight the fact that there's a lot of heart beneath all that.”
