Inspired by power couples such as Bennifer (Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez), TomKat (Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes) and even Jedward (John and Edward) we decided these two needed a nickname.
Plus Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jamar Hardman is just far too much of a mouth full whereas Lemar just slips off the tongue!
But what about actual Lemar? How does he feel about pop's newest power couple stealing his namesake?

Luckily, Lemar (as in 50/50 man) happened to be at the MOBO awards nominations party last night which meant we could pose the question to the man himself.
First of all he just burst out laughing and then after he managed to stop he explained how he feels about Lemar 2:
"Oh, I see what they have done there, I think it's a great name for them to borrow."
Well, we would have hoped he likes it, he is stuck with it forevermore!

However, actual Lemar isn't ready to sacrifice his name just yet:
"It's obviously a classy name so I'm not surprised it's being borrowed. They're obviously inspired by me as it's mine by birth right — but the law of procreation says it is mine!"
This could turn out to be the biggest war since it turned out there were two One Directions!
