EXCLUSIVE: Dakota Fanning tells omg! why she didn’t cut her hair for Now Is Good

Dakota Fanning has revealed that she decided not to cut her hair for her fantastic new film Now is Good.

In the film Dakota plays Tessa and sports some very short blonde hair.

We wanted to know if Dakota cut her hair for real or whether she wore a wig for the role: turns out Dakota didn't chop off her locks and it was in fact, a wig!

We did think her hair had grown rather quick! Copyright: [omg!]

Speaking omg! exclusively ahead of the film's release, Dakota told us:

"It was a wig, it marks the time if you cut your hair so I wore a wig. It's hard to make the choice whether to do something that drastic and it just became simpler to wear the wig."

Dakota got to work alongside Jeremy Irvine *swoon*. Copyright: [omg!]

Dakota also talked about working with the uber gorge Jeremy Irvine and we quizzed her about whether he just says he can't  hat up girls as a pulling tactic.

The actress agreed that Jeremy is probably just being modest.

She says: "Maybe he is being modest! Maybe that is his tactic, yes I think that's probably it."

    We knew it!

Now is Good is in cinemas now and if we were you we would go and see it immediately.

Just remember to pack half a ton of tissues and go light on the mascara, don't say we didn't warn you.
