Demi Lovato reckons she is much happier in her life since she enforced a year long 'man ban'.
The X Factor USA judge reckons that she has spent the past year thinking just about herself and it's been 'incredible'.
Demi says: "It is very unhealthy when girls devote all of their time to a guy and forget their friends and family. I did that. I was always looking for distractions because I was so afraid of being alone."

So what has she changed?
"I have spent the last year focusing on myself and it’s been incredible. More has come out of the past year than in my entire career so far, and I truly believe it was because I was taking care of myself and not focusing on guys."
So the message? To stop obsessing over boys! We just hope the occasional drool is OK or we just don't quite know what we would do with ourselves.
The star also admitted that in the past she would 'self-sabotage' her romantic relationships.
However, now she insists: "I’m in a place where I can finally trust and love and be a better person for the man I am in a relationship with, instead of being a clingy girlfriend or getting jealous."
So now the man ban is over, if you would just hurry up and go out with Niall Horan all would truly be right in the world.
