Cheryl Cole must be feeling red faced after her performance at Channel 4's Stand up to Cancer was littered with sound issues.

We were left confused after her opening performance of Call my Name started sounding as if she was whispering along to a backing track.
It quickly appeared that Cheryl 's vocal couldn't be properly heard, as if someone has forgotten to turn up her vocals.

People are saying Cheryl was miming, but we are not so sure — we just think her mic levels were all off.
Still, EPIC FAIL.
And poor Cheryl looked totally mortified the poor mite.
Twitter has already gone absolutely mad with comments from viewers flooding in.
One user said: "100% proof Cheryl Cole can't sing. Live performance on ch4. Most awkward performance of her life."
However, Cheryl didn't let the incident or the comments put her off and she was back for a second performance of Under the Sun which went a whole lot more smoothly.
And she sounded great.
So there.
Cheryl has since commented she isn't upset and we should focus on the cause. Copyright: [Channel 4]
A spokesperson for Channel 4 told MailOnline: "Unfortunately with the nature of live TV you sometimes have glitches and this was the case with Cheryl's mic in the opening number and was rectified as soon as possible."
However, don't let Cheryl's mic problems take away from the real reason we are watching tonight.
Cheryl has since had her say on what happened, posting on Twitter that she isn't upset and wants everyone to focus on the real reason we were all watching.
She says: "I really dn't feel upset abt the tec issues during my performance and chat.. I just hope every1 commenting on it has done their part 4 the cause."
As Davina McCall said after the gaffe: 'Tonight is about making a difference, and that's what's important.'
