The BRITs 2013 was the year for One Direction, Emeli Sande and Ben Howard.

Ben Howard was a surprise winner, walking away with British Male and British Breakthrough.
And then came the surprise award, the BRIT for Global Success which OBVS went to One Direction who have had an insanely successful year, selling shed loads of records and achieving worldwide domination.

Simon Cowell even made it along to the awards to cheer on the One Direction boys.
One Direction also gave a brilliant performance of their new single, One Way or Another/Teenage Kicks.
1D joined an impressive line of performances at this year's awards, including Robbie Williams, Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift, Mumford and Sons and Emeli Sande.
