Last night Olly Murs missed out on winning not one, but two BRIT awards.
Talk about gutting.
The 27-year-old singer was up for British Male Solo Artist and British Single, losing out to Ben Howard and Adele's Skyfall.
Following his snub on the British Male Solo Artist front, Olly took to Twitter to admit his disappointment.
He tweeted: "I'd be lying if I said I wasn't gutted!! Big up to Ben Howard!! Well done."
Now that's good sportsmanship right there.
Olly then decided it best to drink away his disappointment with fellow nominee Calvin Harris- choosing Jagermeister as their poison of choice.
Alongside the picture of the two, Olly wrote: "Me & calvin drowning our sorrows with jaeger ;)"
Calvin Harris also took to Twitter to air his feelings about missing out on an award.
He wrote: "I lost at BRIT awards"
A somewhat more to the point way of phrasing things than Olly, wouldn't you agree?
Olly Murs later posted on Twitter that after all the excitement (and jagermeister) at the BRITs, he wouldn’t be partying into the night.
He posted: “Night all!! Sleep well... X early night for me.. That Jaeger shot @calvinharris gave me was a killer!! Hit me quick!! #lightweight”
Single Olly said earlier this week that he would rather win a BRIT award than have a girlfriend at the moment.
He told Heat: "I'd rather have a BRIT Award than a girlfriend.
"I'm sure a girl will come along and sweep me off my feet, but at the moment my head's very much firmly on my music.
Unfortunately for Olly, last night he ended up with neither.
Still, at least Calvin was there to lend him a shoulder to cry on.
Chin up Olly!
