Gemma Arterton put on a brave face last night as she flew solo at the BAFTA pre-party following her reported split from her husband.

The British actress looked pretty glum as she left Annabel's in London without hubby Stefano Catelli, who she is rumoured to have parted ways with after just two years of marriage.

Despite not smiling, the 27-year-old looked divine in a Grecian white dress as she left the swanky club ahead of today's EE BAFTAs awards ceremony.

Gemma completed her look with a pair of simple gold heels, a clutch bag, grey coat and her hair swept up on her head.

The 'Prince of Persia' actress married the 40-year-old Italian businessman in an intimate ceremony back in June 2010.

But the pair haven't been seen together and according to the Mail Online, a friend has confirmed that their marriage is now over.

According to The Mail the friend said: "Gemma thought Stefano was the one. He really wore the trousers in the relationship, such was her devotion to him. It happened a couple of months ago. It was a mutual decision.

Gemma is now apparently planning to avoid London Fashion Week events they were both due to attend but is in no rush to move on.
