And now the American country star has added another home grown musician to her pile of celebrity mates.
The 22-year-old confessed today that she and Ellie Goulding are the latest stars to become pals.

Speaking on Grimmy's Radio 1 breakfast show this morning Taylor revealed she and the British singer/songwriter hit it off instantly when they met yesterday.
She said: "I met Ellie Goulding last night and she's the coolest girl. I've been obsessed with her songs for years so I felt a bit fan girlish. I know all the words to her new song."
With Taylor duetting with Ed Sheeran on her new album, we're now wondering whether a Taylor/Ellie collaboration could be on the radar.

Meanwhile the trendy blonde told Grimmy she had lots of nice things to say about a certain other female pop star.
Asked about Rihanna she told him: "Rihanna is so cool. She always seems to be having fun. She smiles at people she doesn't know."
Definitely a reason to like someone. At least we think it's a reason to like someone.
And the American star all-but confessed she's going to be appearing with One Direction and Leona Lewis on X Factor this weekend.
She told an excited fan who asked her whether she'd ever perform on the British version of the show that she'd really love to perform "really soon" *hint hint* *cough cough*.
Louis Walsh then went and blabbed on Daybreak that she would indeed be taking to the stage, telling them it would be her and Leona on stage.
Meanwhile the American singer, who is set to perform at the Radio 1 Teen Awards on Sunday, has told Marie Claire that she wants LOADS of kids.
She said of the SQUILLIONS of pounds she is making through her music: "That money will be really good for sending my kids to college some day - or maybe I'll have a few more kids than I thought. I want a bunch of them running around, minimum four.''
