The Saturdays have given us a big reason to celebrate girl power after omg! readers voted them the best band of 2011.
With the entire female population swooning over Harry Styles and the rest of the One Direction boys, we were fairly certain the lads would win our poll hands down. However, The Saturdays pipped One D to the post, with 31% of the vote.
JLS scooped third position, followed closely by Take That with cheeky chappies The Wanted in fifth place. Here's the full break down:
1st The Saturdays - 31%

After the gorgeous girls won the poll, we got thinking about the reasons why we love them...
1. Their look
There's no denying that Frankie, Mollie, Una, Vanessa and Rochelle always look uh mayzing. Any time they step out - whether it's to the shops in Ugg boots and an oversized handbag, or on stage in glitzy dresses - they give us serious wardrobe envy.

Each single The Sats release has HIT stamped all over it. From debut single to If This is Love, to the feel-good anthem Higher, to the emosh My Heart Takes Over, any time the girls are played we're on our feet and getting our groove on.

The Saturdays' love-lives are as glamorous and exciting as the girls themselves. Not only are the boyfriends drop dead gorgeous, but the end of 2011 brought exciting news for the girls on the romance front. Una Healy and Ben Foden announced that they were expecting their first child together before Ben got down on one knee and proposed.
Una Healy and Ben Foden have recently got engaged and are having their first baby in the spring / WENNRochelle Wiseman and JLS beau Marvin Humes followed suit with the pair getting engaged on holiday at Christmas.
Rochelle and Marvin got engaged over ChristmasMollie King has bagged The World's Sexiest Man in the shape of model David Gandy who recently gushed that they'd be together for the 'next 40 years,' and Frankie Sandford once dated Dougie Poynter before moving on to footballer Wayne Bridge.
And repping the single girls, Vanessa White spends a lot of her free time partying hard.
We won't lie - all this means that a great deal of our time is spent wishing we were in the band, with a super-fit boyfriend in tow. Ah, we can but dream.
