Holly Willoughby will be great host on The Voice, say Westlife

Westlife reckon Holly Willoughby is an inspired choice for BBC One's The Voice, according to an exclusive interview with Yahoo! omg!

Speaking to us today on the lads' last ever UK press day Shane told us the former Dancing On Ice presenter - who was today confirmed as host for The Voice - was an inspired choice.

He said: "Holly is a good friend and a great presenter.

"She's a very lovable character."

The singer added that he thinks the show will do brilliantly - if the Irish version is anything to go by.

He told us: "[Westlife's] Kian is a judge of show in Ireland. The format of the show is brilliant. It's all about the voice. Not judged on dress sense or how they look."

Recommendation from Westlife yet? This is the wretched group that turned the Bette Midler classic 'The Rose' into a wedding singer number. Give us a break Holly Willoughby looks like an ageing plastic doll with a monotony to her speech that dulls the senses.

who cares what they think? nobody! As for the voice......No it is not all about the voice. Only the very first stage do the judges not see them. From then on its just like any other talent show and the public still vote for the whole package just like any other show. Theyre still all stylised and dressed up to perform. If it were just about the voice we would never ever see them at all.
