Artwork for Tulisa’s ‘The Female Boss’ album lands, we remember she’s actually a pop star

The official artwork for Tulisa's first solo album has been released today reminding us all that her job is first and foremost a pop star.

Tulisa has unveiled the artwork for her debut album 'The Female Boss'.

Since splitting from N-Dubz last year, Tulisa has become a jack of all trades adding writer, X Factor judge,  fashion designer and chemist (well she does have a perfume) to her CV.

The album is set for release on 26 November, putting her in direct competition with her X Factor colleague Olly Murs who releases his album the same week.

The cover art itself doesn't have an awful lot going on but perhaps this in a bid to remind us all that Tulisa is 'all about the music'.

Our first thought was that we were pleased to see the album cover shows Tulisa with her trademark brunette locks — we weren't so keen on the blonde look.

But we did wonder when the picture was taken — yonks ago before the blonde, or very recently?

This is probably not the reaction Tulisa was hoping for but you can't have everything- just ask Carolynne Poole.

So far Tulisa has released two singles from the upcoming album, both with varying degrees of success.

Debut single 'Young' topped the charts earlier this year and was at one point in time the fastest selling single of 2012.

Follow track 'Live it up' however didn't perform quite as well peaking at number 11.

    Ouch.

Expect Tulisa to be promoting the album on The X Factor in the not so distant future.
