Max told us: "I think muscles like that look wrong on a man never mind a woman."

Nathan agreed, saying: "You know you've got a problem when your bird has a better six pack than you." That's very true - we hadn't thought that Jodie might intimidate a potential new boyfriend.

But what do the boys think of Jodie as a person? Turns out they're not her biggest fans. Nathan told us: "I could rant about this all day. She has no talent whatsoever. All she does is strive to get into the media."

However, Max seemed to disagree, saying: "It works, though. She's made a lot of money."

Can't argue with that now can we?!

We had to ask the boys if the rumours that the video had the be toned down were true. "That is true," Tom confirmed.

Nathan explained: "Not on set, just in editing — we did what we wanted to do on set and they just pulled it back in the editing."

However, Max went on to reveal a secret - that Nathan got VERY friendly with the girl he was paired with on the video. Max told us: "Nathan was in a tent with a girl when we weren't filming. I could just see feet shaking!"

Tom agreed: "His feet were splayed out!"

Max teased: "She had him right where she wanted him!"

Despite Tom revealing that he fancies Amy Childs, the boys told us that the don't think the show itself is any good. "It's a shockingly s*** show," Tom told us. "It's the worst thing I've ever seen."

The arena tour is still very much in the planning stages, but we couldn't wait to find out if there's anything exciting in store."We're really excited," said Tom. "We're just putting plans together now."

Will it be anything like their theatre tour last year? Max seems to think not. "Our first tour was made like a show. It was almost like a theatre show. We had a storyline through the whole thing. I don't think we'll do that as such this time. I'd actually like to get in a full orchestra."

Tom's a fan on this idea. "That'd be cool." Nathan only has one aim: "We just don't want it to be cheesy."

Cheesy? With you boys involved, it'll never be that!

    • The Wanted, One Direction and JLS are our fave boybands of the moment. But with all three being so amazing and, er, fit, do The Wanted feel any rivallry?

[See also: Jennifer Aniston has a diva strop]

[See also: Nathan Sykes isn't a fan of Kelly Rowland's crying!]

It seems not. "I don't think there's any rivallry," Max George told us. "If we were all going head to head in the same week with singles, then yeah we'd want to beat them."

"That's the same with any artist," Nathan said. "We never look at the chart and think 'Oh, so and so's out - we'll settle for number two."

But would the boys like it if their single was released at the same time as the other lads? "I'd love it," said Max, showing off his competitive streak. "If we didn't get the number one we'd pretend there wasn't any rivalry."

"Yeah, we'd say we'd buy them a drink," Nathan laughed. "Or actually, no, they could buy US a drink because we lost!"

      Well, fair's fair we suppose.

"Yeah, you know those moments when you're crying," Nathan said, "and you feel that you need to wipe a tear? But Americans seem to just let it roll and roll just for that massive effect."

But who are the boys backing to win? Max is a big fan of Tulisa. "I'm backing her to win," he told us. "I'd like her to win, but I think the girls are the strongest category."

We're inclined to agree...but who knows what could happen on Saturday!?
