The singer was talking to Scott Mills on the Official Top 40 appcast about her new single 'You Bring Me Joy' and how it was about the highs and lows of relationships.
Interjecting, Scott pointed out that Amelia was probably too busy to have a boyfriend right now.
However Amelia confirmed that she does have a boyfriend but goes about her relationship in a whole lot less conventional way.

She told Scott: "I do have a boyfriend and I kind of like not seeing him everyday though because it gets a bit boring"
She added: "It does though because you want to keep it fun and exciting but my dog comes first."

Amelia's honest approach took Scott Mills by surprise but admitted that he admired her honesty.
Hmm, we're not sure how we'd feel if we were Amelia's boyfriend after hearing that.
