Adele looks set to take over both Rihanna and One Direction and claim pole position in this Sunday's Official Chart with Bond theme 'Skyfall'.

And it's only been available to download for two days.
Since releasing the song on Itunes yesterday, Skyfall has gone straight to the top of the Itunes chart, nudging Rihanna's 'Diamonds' and One Direction's 'Live While We're Young' further down the tally in the process.
Before the song was released, Rihanna and One Direction had been battling it out for number one after both songs were released last Sunday.

It was revealed by the Official Charts Company that midweeks sales showed that One Direction were ahead of Rihanna but only by a mere 250 copies.
However, with Adele's track gaining a surprisingly high amount of popularity, the battle could very well have been in vain.
It seems that not even the mighty One Direction can stop Adele's success.

Adele finally confirmed earlier this week that she would be singing the coveted Bond theme.
The singer posted a picture of what looked like the front cover of a set of sheet music titled 'Skyfall' on Twitter.
Soon after, the track was officially previewed online to rave reviews.
One Republic front man Ryan Tedder had previously tweeted: "I've heard it. Best Bond song in my lifetime. Hands down - hats off once again to Paul Epworth and Adele. Hope they win Oscar."
